Details

Hand made and kiln fired ceramic cremation urn in an elegant green and blue glaze finish with a stem accenting the lid.
Unique dimple feature, slight indents on the urn's body, allow for a sturdy grip when transporting.
These were all thrown by hand on a potter's wheel and then fired in a natural gas kiln.
The glazes are all mixed from scratch.
Natural variations in these artistic ceramic urns will occur, making each one of a kind.
Hand crafted in Minnesota.
Urn can to be sealed with a thick epoxy adhesive, like E6000 (not included).

Capacity: Up to 200 cubic inches. Ideal for a body weight of up to 200 lbs prior to cremation.

Details

About the Artist: An avid potter since 1988, the artist originally learned to throw in Ann Arbor, MI and has been working as a full-time studio potter in Minneapolis, MN since 1997. She works primarily in wheel-thrown, high-fired stoneware, crafting one of a kind pieces. All of her glazes are mixed from scratch and her pieces are lovingly fired in a natural gas kiln to 2400 degrees Fahrenheit.
