Radiance Cremation Urn - Medium

Each radiant cremation urn is carefully shaped and cast in a strong bronze. The threaded lid prevents the need for an adhesive to seal the urn. The metal forms are coated in a thick layer of black lacquer which dries and then softens when the solvent has evaporated. Once the lacquer has softened and dried, each ashes urn is given to a skilled artisan in northern India who hand etches the urn with intricate designs. This process, with knowledgeable artisans who complete the designs, creates slight variations and unique flair in each cremation vase. The lacquer is removed, revealing a dazzling, symmetrical golden pattern. This pattern includes smooth banding and floral motifs such as leaves and petals that encourage the eye to travel over the form, wandering from pattern to pattern and motif to motif, finding each lovely detail.
