The Opal Cloisonne Urn is a wonderful way to celebrate the life of a loved one. The cloisonne pattern features an intricate floral pattern, with golden hued outlines in a gentle opal background. The golden bronze of the lid and trim around the neck of the urn will catch your eye, as a gentle reminder of all the love you shared.

Due to the delicate nature of cloisonné, we cannot engrave directly on urn, however it can be personalized with an engraved pendant.

Details

Cloisonne cremation urns and keepsakes all begin with a solid copper form. The design is then welded on using flexible copper wire. After the wire is attached, colorful enamel is placed in the spaces, similar to doing a paint by number. The enamel hardens as it dries and then the piece is fired, polished, and checked for any blemishes. The enamel helps create a scratch resistant coating on the surface and the enamel colors are eye-catching and vibrant. Each cloisonne urn and keepsake is a bonafide masterpiece. This ancient and traditional process is mastered by artisans in one area of northern China.
